Mr. Muthu Kannan is the Founder and Director of Visualite Academy. He founded this great institution with a strong vision and utmost dedication. With more than 20 years of professional experience in the photography industry, he has spread his wings to every nook and corner of Tamil Nadu. He has worked closely with leading colleges and universities in Chennai (M.O.P. Vaishnav College, Patrician College, Guru Nanak College, Sindhi College of Arts & Science, Vels University, St. Joseph’s College of Arts and Science) for a successful period of 10 years as a professor and guest lecturer. He is among the few professionals in India, to be recognized by Google as a “Google Trusted Photographer”. He is well-known for his Commercial, Product, Wedding, Fashion and Portrait, and Family Photography. In addition to that, he also has extensive experience in Advertising and Corporate films. After founding Visualite, he took the full responsibility of developing and delivering the programs in various disciplines including Acting, Direction, Scriptwriting, Filmmaking, Cinematography, Photo Journalism, Advertising and PR, Television Production, etc.
Vignesh is in-charge of the Graphic Design and Video Editing department. With a strong passion for multimedia and graphic design, he has attained mastery in various multimedia softwares and has equipped himself with all contemporary technical updates. He has several years of professional work experience including 2 years of teaching experience on an academic level. An expert in the editing field, Vignesh holds a Masters Degree in Visual Communication and has also cleared the SLET exam (conducted by Mother Teresa University).
Osho teaches Wedding Photography in Visualite Academy. Osho holds Master degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Madras University. Who is also handling Direction & Script Writing papers. A candid photographer in more than 100 wedding shoots, Osho has created a name for himself in this competitive field. He is based out of Chennai and is now currently focusing on wedding portraits and other forms of wedding photography.
saving money: Deepa Chandran is in charge of Photo Journalism in Visualite Academy. An avid reader, Deepa Chandran has made her specialisation in Journalism. Equipped with a Master’s Degree in Physics and a Diploma course in Modern Journalism, her area of expertise are copy editing and content editing. With 8 years of experience as a Copy Editor for International journals she has created a mark for herself in the industry.
Manikandan teaches Cinematography in Visualite Academy. He is a passion-driven teacher, who has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media (BMM) in University of Mumbai, followed by a Master’s degree in Visual Communication at Loyola College, Chennai. Having a rich experience in the Cinematography industry, he has delivered his skills and technical expertise in Arrambam, Anegan, Maari and other South Indian films. Apart from these, he has done 600+ commercials in India. Notably, one of his works – “Nila Vaanam Kaatru Mazhai” was screened at Cannes Film Festival in 2015 and won an award under the Social category of Direction and Cinematography.
Amrutha Ravichandran is the instructor of Direction and Scriptwriting in Visualite Academy. She is a young energetic tutor, built a solid foundation in writing and storytelling. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication and a Post-Graduate degree in Audio Visual Communication stream, she got an immense knowledge about Psychology, Literature, and Journalism. After moving to Chennai, she started to work in many advertisements and films. During the course of time, she got the opportunity to work under notable Directors such as Suresh Triveni and Bumpy on advertisements and TV shows.
Anbudurai is the tutor of Acting in Visualite Academy. With a proven experience of 15 years in the acting industry, he is well-known for his creativity and enthusiasm. He has an acting record in various movies, Ad films, short films, and mega serials. To name a few accomplishments, he was the lead role in V. Sekar’s serial titled Porandha Veeda Pugundha Veeda (2007), and a character role in Iravum Pagalum, directed by Bala Sriram (2015). He has also undergone a certificate course in Film Acting, at MGR Film and Television Institute of Tamil Nadu, Chennai and many more.
